You'll probably have a few itches and rashes that come, and then go when you're a mum-to-be. The most common one is itchiness around your bump - which can actually be down to your skin stretching.
To ease stretch marks, try to apply a good moisturiser, such as cocoa butter, to your skin everyday.
Most other itches are nothing to worry about and are likely to be down to your raised hormone levels, which makes you more sensitive to things around you.
It's a good idea to use mild soaps and body washes at this time and also to stick to loose, cotton clothing to keep your body cool. Talk to your pharmacist about safe treatments you can use to soothe your skin. If your rash or itch persists, get advice from your GP.
