Getting hot and cold

Often outside influences are the worst enemy for sensitive skin - intense, hot sun or cold, biting wind can both play havoc with even 'normal' skin, so it's important to protect yourself against the weather.

Even when you're indoors your skin could be suffering. Central heating and air conditioning can be very drying, making skin feel more sensitive.
Try to keep your indoor temperature at a consistent, comfortable level and in winter, placing a small bowl of water near a radiator can help to humidify the air and keep the moisture in your skin.
